Bookings:
To hire equipment from The Whitehouse Collection, the hirer must be aged 18 or over. Identification will be required if the hirer appears to be under 18. It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that the equipment can fit in the desired space.
The Whitehouse Collection reserves the right to charge 100% of the hire cost if the equipment cannot fit in the allocated area upon arrival. Please contact us for the correct dimensions needed for the equipment you are hiring.
The Whitehouse Collection hires equipment only for indoor or flat, grassed areas unless previously arranged.
Overnight hire requires a secure garden and a refundable security deposit.
Care and security information will be provided when the inflatable is delivered. The Whitehouse Collection reserves the right to refuse hire if the equipment is at any security risk. Two forms of identification will be required for all overnight hires.
The Whitehouse Collection excludes public liability insurance entirely for any claim or injury to any third party or employee, whether directly or indirectly related to the use of drugs and/or alcohol.
The Whitehouse Collection is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage caused to anyone who uses the equipment contrary to our terms and conditions. While the equipment is in the hirer's possession and control, liability for any injuries or other losses caused lies solely with the hirer. It is highly recommended that the hirer has appropriate public liability insurance to cover their liability arising from the use of our equipment.
Booking Fees and Charges:
Your deposit is a non-refundable booking fee that covers our administrative costs when reserving your equipment. Booking fees must be paid immediately upon reserving equipment and dates. The Whitehouse Collection will not hold any dates for equipment without a booking fee.
All bookings are subject to a booking fee of 50% of the total hire cost, with the final balance due 14 days prior to the event date.
Please note that we will not deliver to an unsecured location without the hirer being present. If we are called to attend any event or premises due to problem with set up, not regarded as our own. A call-out charge of £35 per hour will be applied.
Any damage to the equipment provided by The Whitehouse Collection as a result of negligence on the hirer's part will be charged accordingly. Please treat our equipment with respect. Any mistreated or overly dirty equipment during collection will incur a £35 cleaning charge.
Cancellation Policy
We offer a free-of-charge cancellation option in the event of heavy rain or high winds if the booking is outside. To take advantage of this option the hirer must telephone us no later than 6.00pm the day before the hire date. If the booking is cancelled for any other reason after the time of booking or after this time, the following Cancellation Policy will be applied:
Within 8 weeks prior to the event 25% of the order value
Within 6 weeks prior to the event 50% of the order value
Within 4 weeks prior to the event 75% of the order value
Within 2 weeks prior to the event 100% of the order value
In the event of multiple items being booked for the same event and the hirer requests to cancel one or more of these items the cancelled items will be invoiced as per our Cancellation Policy above.
All cancellation invoices will be sent to the hirer and payment will be required to The White House Collection within 7 days of the date of the Invoice.
Soft Play Terms of Use
- The Whitehouse Collection provides soft play equipment that is suitable for children under the age of 6 years. It is strictly prohibited to use the soft play equipment for anyone over 6 years of age.
- Prior to use, the hirer must inspect the equipment and agree that it is in good condition. Any issues should be brought to the attention of The Whitehouse Collection during the equipment setup.
- An adult over the age of 18 years must supervise the soft play equipment at all times.
- Smoking is not permitted on or near the soft play equipment.
- Shoes, face paint, sharp objects, food, and beverages are strictly prohibited on the soft play mats, ball pools, or equipment.
- Before returning the soft play equipment, the hirer must collect all ball pool balls. Failure to do so will result in a £35 collection charge.
- The soft play pieces must be placed back in their original location for collection. The hirer is responsible for the care and security of the soft play equipment while it is in their possession. Any damage caused to the equipment during this time will be charged accordingly.
- The soft play equipment is sanitised after every use, but the hirer should try to keep it as clean as possible to protect its longevity. Any mistreatment or excessive dirtiness will result in a £35 cleaning charge.
- Party poppers, streamers, silly string or face paint are strictly forbidden on the soft play equipment due to the potential for staining and damage. The hirer is responsible for any damage caused by the use of these items.
- The hire period is agreed upon prior to delivery of the soft play equipment. If there is any obstruction caused by the hirer or their guests during this time, they will be charged £35 per hour or part thereof. In the event of an accident, it must be reported in the relevant accident book, including dates, accounts of what occurred, and signed by the injured third party representative.
- The Whitehouse Collection excludes public liability insurance entirely in the event of a claim or injury to any third party or employee, whether directly or indirectly related to the use of drugs and/or alcohol.
- Any injury, loss, or damage caused to any person using the equipment contrary to the terms and conditions will not be liable to
- The Whitehouse Collection. The hirer is responsible for the care and supervision of all users of the soft play equipment while it is in their possession and control. It is strongly recommended that the hirer obtain appropriate public liability insurance to cover their liability arising from the use of The White House Collection's equipment.
Inflatable Terms of Use
- The operator of The Whitehouse Collection inflatable must be a responsible adult over the age of 18 years.
- This person must ensure that only users of the appropriate age are allowed on the inflatable.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited on or within close vicinity of the inflatable and its accessories.
- Under no circumstances should the inflatable be moved once secured in position.
- Only The Whitehouse Collection personnel may move the inflatable.
- The hirer must ensure that no more than the recommended number of users are allowed on the inflatable at any one time.
- The hirer must ensure that users adhere to the correct height restrictions at all times.
- Socks are mandatory at all times, but shoes, spectacles, sharp objects, or food are not allowed on the inflatable whatsoever.
- Party poppers, streamers, silly string and face paint are strictly forbidden on the inflatable. The hirer will be responsible for any damage caused by the use of these objects on the inflatable.
- The hirer must be positioned at the base of the inflatable, where the front step is located, to ensure the safety and well-being of users. Acrobatics, including summersaults, are strictly forbidden on the inflatable.
- The hirer must ensure that users simply bounce up and down with no pushing or climbing on any part of the inflatable. Larger, more boisterous children should be separated from smaller ones, using a rotating system for using the inflatable.
- The hirer must ensure that the unit remains intact and should regularly inspect the inflatable and its anchorage for any signs of loosening. In the event of failure, all users must be safely removed, and the inflatable restored to safe operation.
- Accidents must be reported in the relevant accident book, including dates and accounts of what occurred and signed by the injured third party representative.
- Weather conditions must be monitored, and the inflatable taken out of use when wind speeds exceed 24mph. Heavy rainfall should result in the inflatable being taken out of use and electrical equipment unplugged.
- The blower must be checked regularly to ensure it remains in place.
- No member of the public should have access to the blower or its electric sockets.
- The hirer will be deemed to have inspected the equipment and any accessories and agreed that it is supplied in good condition unless brought to the attention of The Whitehouse Collection when erecting the inflatable.
- The hire period will have been agreed within an email prior to delivery of the inflatable.
- Any obstruction to remove equipment by the hirer or their guests will be charged at £35 per hour or part thereof.
- Please treat our equipment with respect. Mistreated or overly dirty inflatables, when being collected, will incur a £35 cleaning charge.
- Public liability insurance is excluded in its entirety following any claim or injury to any third party or employee directly or indirectly related to the use of drugs and/or alcohol.
- The Whitehouse Collection excludes any liability for injury, loss, or damage caused to any person using the equipment contrary to our terms and conditions.
- While the equipment is in the hirer's possession and control, liability for injuries or other losses caused rests solely with the hirer.
- We strongly recommend that the hirer has appropriate public liability insurance, covering his/her liability arising from the use of our equipment.
